The successful candidate will be part of the infrastructure team responsible for the strategic planning, maintenance and audit of all global IT infrastructure services - multiple data centres and approximately 500 virtual machines. The role will involve designing, delivering and controlling complex IT global infrastructure solutions, co-ordinating operation strategies as well as leading on infrastructure projects.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have worked in an IT Systems Administrator, Senior Systems Engineer, Linux Systems Administrator, Unix Systems Administrator or similar role. It is essential to have proven Linux systems administration experience (ideally RedHat), thorough technical knowledge of administering virtualised environments (VMware) as well as detailed technical knowledge of the LAMP stack or the ability to resolve web application (JBoss, Coldfusion, Apache) issues on Linux systems. The ideal candidate will also be VCP / RHCE certified and have some exposure to Solaris, Coldfusion or Amazon Web Services (AWS), however this is not essential.
