Our client is a responsible international bank that both looks after staff (respectful of life/work balance) and one that has always behaved well on the financial markets. An extremely stable bank. This bank likes to keep IT in-house, so no offshore partners and good IT budgets moving forward over the next few years. This is a very healthy bank.

Our client has recently introduced a new Messaging Services team within the organization, who are responsible for all aspects of Messaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for "bridging the gap" between the messaging platform and the helpdesk. This will be a varied role with tasks around supporting Sharepoint, Exchange 2010, Outlook 2010 and Enterprise Vault including technical support, documentation and training requirements.

This role may suit an individual with good Exchange 2010 / Sharepoint experience who has held the following roles: Technical Support Analyst, Messaging Analyst, MsExchange Support Consultant.

Experience (Essential)
*Good understanding of the business processes which Messaging supports and a good knowledge of the software involved.
*Outlook 2010, MS Exchange 2010, Sharepoint 2013 including the governance, installation / migration / upgrades, configuration and management of these systems.
*Thorough knowledge of information systems development processes or networks or other skill areas which are relevant to the role and the applications to be supported.
*Has experience of working on projects and of communicating with users on technical issues. Willing to provide 2nd/3rd line support for new and existing applications.
*Ability and willingness to train and mentor colleagues and end users.
*Experience in a similar role, ideally within a global environment and preferably within a systems office within a financial organisation.
*Knowledge of ITIL best practices with a particular focus on operational readiness. Ideally ITIL-qualified with Sharepoint / Outlook/ Exchange Certification.
