Salary: Up to £45000

A subsidiary of one of Asia's largest bank, which has had great success over the years due to trades between Asia and the rest of the world is urgently recruiting to grow their team. My client is seeking a Oracle Developer (PL/SQL, finance, MI) to develop and maintain UK and EBA regulatory reporting systems based on Axiom technology.

This Oracle Developer (PL/SQL, finance, MI) opportunity will require you to use your strengths Oracle database developments with strengths in PL/SQL scripting, in order to carry out enhancements and development of the banks main platform with these tools. You will also be required to carry out MI reporting tasks on a regular basis. Experience with Java is a huge bonus but not essential. Financial experience is also desirable, especially with regulatory and risk reporting, but this experience can be trained.

Key requirements within this Oracle Developer (PL/SQL, finance, MI) are as follows:

  • At least 3 years experience as an Oracle developer - Essential
  • Strong experience with PL/SQL - Required
  • Great understanding of Axiom technologies - Bonus
  • MI reporting experience - Required
  • Understanding of Java - Desirable
  • Background in finance - Desirable
