Application Support Analyst - Basingstoke, Hampshire - up to £42,000 plus bonus + benefits. An exciting opportunity has arisen within a very successful global organisation for a talented and analytical Application Support Analyst, with exceptional communication skills to join the business.

The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre or equivalent, with strong experience and expertise in IT Support, incident, problem and change management, across enterprise and desktop applications and ERP and CRM systems. You must have strong SQL skills with experience of SSRS, reporting and data analysis. Any knowledge of ASP, .NET, and C# languages, enabling you carry out fixes, small developments and updates where necessary, would be a distinct advantage.

You should have experience of supporting Windows 2003 and 2008 Server and be enthusiastic in learning and supporting any applications and systems used by the business. Previous experience of QAD, Qlikview, Linux or MS CRM would be particularly advantageous, but not essential.

You would be working in a high performing team, supporting users across the business with troubleshooting application and software issues within servers, databases and other critical systems. In addition, you will assist with the design and development of in-house software applications and ERP system.

As part of the team you will be resolving day to day service issues, demonstrating effective incident management, prioritising and documenting your problem solving processes. You will be self-motivated and confident working either individually or alongside other IT team members to restore services to operational standards quickly and efficiently. As part of this role, you should also have experience building and maintaining databases that perform queries and carry out defect management and tracking.

You should demonstrate the ability to analyse the results, identify trends and then make recommendations to improve the support process. You will also take part in research into software application products and services and support the testing of any new and existing software applications.

The salary on offer with this role is up to £42,000 plus bonus and a very comprehensive benefits package.
