Very strong experience in an IT portfolio delivery position managing IT budgets of up to £5M+
Excellent understanding and qualification in Project Management and Programme Management methodology
Change management experience and the ability to work with process improvement methodology such as six sigma
An understanding of General Insurance would be a distinct advantage although not essential.
Awareness and or prior exposure to TIA solution preferred
Strong IT understanding and experience in working in large IT departments with structured operating environments
Practiced in initiating and maintaining effective working relationships with senior executives both within the business and IT.
Significant experience of working with offshore delivery teams (India)
Proven experience of strategy alignment with the ability to think long term anticipating opportunities and threats
Significant experience of Stakeholder Management.
Significant experience of leading and motivating successful teams.
Previous experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
Candidates are likely to have a background which includes experience in either a large blue chip organisation or one of the top consultancies, so that they understand the dynamics, disciplines and processes of complex organisations.
