Our client is a very well regarded primary school who are recruiting for a 3 day per week role to start from September in Keystage 2. The school are based in a semi-rural village 15 minutes to the North West of Bury St Edmunds. To be suitable for this role you will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be conversant with the curriculum and able to deliver effective lessons and enable effective learning. Teachers with QTS and NQTs are welcome to apply for this role and mentoring will be offered where necessary. The role is for a year initially, however could be made permanent for the right applicant.
The school has been ubnder a new headship for the past year and during this time, the school has seen marked improvements. The school has an incluusive policy where all teachers are seen as equals and all opinions are valid. The school have plans for continued improvement ofer the coming year and are looking for a teacher to help with this improvement.
You will be responsible for team teaching alongside another experienced teacher and for half of the planning. There will be TA provision for SEN pupils and a class based TA. There is a mixed ability range within the class and some very high performing pupils. The pupils are keen to learn and take advantage of all opportunities.
