A well-established not for profit organisation are looking for an IT Technician/IT Support Analyst to join them on an initial 3 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for providing 1st/2nd line support to approximately 600 users and will have proven experience in a helpdesk environment.
As the IT Technician you will be responsible for providing a first point of contact for users, troubleshooting and resolving any IT issues that arise. You will provide helpdesk and telephone support to a wide range of users; working to resolve issues across software, hardware and their network infrastructure.
To be suitable for this role you will have comprehensive helpdesk and desktop support skills. It is essential that you have strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 with good Active Directory skills. Exposure to Hyper-V, DHCP, DNA and Group Policy would be advantageous. You will also have hands on knowledge and experience of products including: Microsoft XP through to 7 and Microsoft Office 2010.
The salary on offer for this 3 month fixed term contract is £23,000-£25,000. Please note -candidates should be available immediately or within one weeks' notice.
