This is a B2B sales role where you will be tasked with developing relationships with b2b partners to maximise awareness, generate bookings and provide added value services among UK and International audience.
A ell-received purpose built, state of the art film and television studio is looking for a Business Development Manager to join them for a period of 9 months to cover a period of maternity leave. At their BDM you will be supervising and supporting the sales strategy which has positioned the attraction as a leader in the tourism market place. You will be monitoring and guiding the delivery to targets including sales volume, revenue and ticket yield among core B2B markets;
Travel Trade (Tour operators, inbound operators, coach operators etc)
Educational travel providers
You will be Account Manager of 50 Trade accounts with personal responsibility of over £4m net revenue turnover, this will include day-to-day Account management, understanding their B2B audiences and working on growing loyalty for the attraction.
As well as delivering and maximise revenue and volume targets, you will also be tasked with undertaking key sales trips, including shows, and client meetings as required.
You will provide high levels of customer service and relationship management to their key partners, delivering beyond service expectations as well as Investigate new and existing opportunities for sourcing incremental business in line with the overall Marketing Strategy.
To be considered for this role you MUST have extensive experience in the travel trade industry coupled with experience in attractions, events or a tourism product.
It is given that you will be a strong communicator with strong negotiating skills.
Fluency in English is essential, and a second 2nd language would be useful. You should also have a full, clean driving licence
