Teacher of Maths required within Pupil Referral Unit in Nottingham - Immediate start

Our Client has a vacancy for a full time Maths teacher to work with small groups of KS2 and KS3 students. The vacancy has arisen due to long term sickness cover, the school are looking for a supply teacher until the end of this academic year with an immediate start. There is the potential of a permanent placement for the right candidate.
The school will require the successful candidate to plan and deliver Maths lessons aimed at children who are no longer based within mainstream education for a number of different reasons.
Strong behaviour management skills are paramount and the successful candidate will be required to use tried and tested de-escalation strategies on a daily basis to ensure a calm teaching environment enabling students to focus on their learning.
The successful candidate must have qualified teacher status (QTS) and will be required to work on a full time basis Monday to Friday excluding school holidays.
