A well-established company with long standing blue-chip clients is looking to recruit an additional Account Manager to join their Client Marketing department.
As the Account Manager you will be the principal contact for the clients. This is predominantly a relationship management role but you will be expected to identify and deliver on new business (within the existing portfolio), renewal and cross sales opportunities. You will be accountable for customer retention activity within a specific sector and continually monitor account performance.
To be suitable for this position you MUST be an experienced Account Manager, Client Marketing Manager or Relationship Marketing Manager who is used to extensive client account handling. You will take joint responsibility for client accounts and establishing new client contacts along with developing existing relationships. You will work with the portfolio of clients to proactively develop business for the future and drive performance of existing schemes and products. The successful candidate will be expected to attend and manage external client meetings, ensure business plans and projects are strategically sound and be able to provide operational guidance by the means of presentations and analysis on statistical / data performance reports.
You should possess an excellent level of communication, literacy and numeracy, and be a confident user of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
The salary for this Account Manager role is £26,000-30,000 basic, depending on experience, plus benefits. Offices are located in Wimbledon in SW London, with excellent transport links to Waterloo and Surrey areas.
