A major mechanical and electrical building services business is looking to recruit an experienced Planner to support an increasing workload from their Solihull offices.

The right candidate will ideally have proven planning experience within the M&E sector and have the capacity to run multiple projects while liaising with the Project Lead. You will be responsible for implementing the requirements of the tender and / or project planning procedures, ensuring compliance with the business management system
Right now the company is focusing on developing a world class in house planning function to support all of their projects. To be considered you will be able to show;

> Understands construction techniques & developments

> Working knowledge of ECC/ICE Forms of Contract, SHW, SHW Method of measurements & CESMM

> Software used - Asta PowerProject/CS Project/Microsoft Project

> HND/Degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant experience gained from carrying out a similar role

> Strong M&E background with good experience

> Production of tender and contract programme

> Produces programmes showing key constraints/key off-site procurement & design/key resources levelled & linked/float analysis/time risk allowances & is of optimistic & realistic overall durations

> Liaises with internal and external colleagues

> Production of change programme and revised contract

> Management of as built records and measure productivity

> Production of planning report

> Identifies opportunities and threats

If you feel that you can undertake this role and its associated responsibilities then the following remuneration is on offer:

Annual Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 (Dependent on experience)
Company Car or Allowance Circa £4,000
Company Pension Contribution of 7%
Private Medical Healthcare Scheme
25 Days Annual Holiday + Bank Holidays
Training and Development from internal UK Head of Planning
