A global name in construction is looking to recruit a Planning Manager on a permanent basis to support an increasing workload within their London & South East business unit.
Based at their Redhill offices, you will have proven planning experience within the M&E (Building Services/Construction) sector and be able to run multiple projects while liaising with the Project Lead. You will be responsible for implementing the requirements of the tender and / or project planning procedures, ensuring compliance with the business management system.

> Understands construction techniques & developments
> Working knowledge of ECC/ICE Forms of Contract, SHW, SHW Method of measurements & CESMM
> Software used - Asta PowerProject/CS Project/Microsoft Project
> HND/Degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant experience gained from carrying out a similar role
> Extensive planning experience required
> Strong M&E background in construction or similar industry
> A reasonable building knowledge would also be of benefit.
> Proficient in Planning Software
> Production of tender and contract programme
> Production of planning file, notes and worksheets
> Production of quality phasing drawings/flowcharts/time slices/mass-haul diagrams
> Identifies temporary works and traffic management requirements
> Putting forward VE alternatives
> Produces programmes showing key constraints/key off-site procurement & design/key resources levelled & linked/float analysis/time risk allowances & is of optimistic & realistic overall durations
> Liaises with internal and external colleagues
> Production of change programme and revised contract
> Management of as built records and measure productivity
> Production of planning report
> Measurement of planning standard
> Identifies opportunities and threats
On offer for the right candidate is a remuneration of £60,000 - £90,000 and a fantastic benefits package which includes the following:
