A successful IT service provider that has been operating for over 20 years is looking for an talented (Senior) IT Support Engineer to be based in the Ascot area, Berkshire (commutable from Surrey, Middlesex, Hampshire and parts of West London).

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st to 3rd line remote and onsite IT Support to a number of SME clients (approximately 50-150 users) located in the London, SE, South coast and Thames Valley region. As part of a team the (Senior) IT Support Engineer will be expected to take ownership and resolve a wide range of faults from 1st line fixes, through to system building, server rebuilds and even acting as onsite IT Systems Manager.

In order to be suitable for this position you must have experience working in a Field Engineer, (Senior) IT Support Engineer, Managed Services Engineer, Windows Administrator or similar role with proven client facing experience, both face to face and over the telephone. It is essential to have broad technical skills including Windows Server administration as well as possess an MCSE (2008 or higher) qualification. The ideal candidate will also have some Citrix (Xenapp and desktop), VMware and SAN experience, however this is not essential.

This is a great opportunity to work in a business with an established client base and in a role with broad remit and responsibility. This (Senior) IT Support Engineer role is paying up to £40,000 plus benefits including car allowance, private healthcare and 21 days annual leave.
