Teacher of Sciences - Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall Area
Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
Randstad Education Plymouth is recruiting Teachers of Science for supply work in Secondary Academies and Schools across the region
Physics, Chemistry and Biology are now recognised as shortage subjects in secondary schools and academies across the UK. As a teacher of sciences working with Randstad Education you will be providing vital support in a subject where students may not have had a specialist teacher for some time. The most heavily requested subjects throughout this academic year, your help could make a real difference to the progress of the students in the region.
Here at Randstad Education we work with the widest range of schools in the area. We are privileged to be the ?first call? for the majority of these schools, they rely heavily on us to provide the support they need to cover absence and sickness. For you, this means you will have access to the positions available in your specialism before other agency workers, and a specialist consultant working hard on your behalf to build your profile and positive reputation in the area. These short term assignments could lead to longer term and permanent opportunities.
The South West region including Devon and Cornwall presents an extremely diverse range of backgrounds for students attending secondary schools. With rural and urban communities within a few miles of each other, most schools will need teachers that are adept in meeting the needs of a mix of backgrounds. As a temporary teacher your challenge will be to do that on day one for each assignment.
To apply please send your CV and cover email to our Specialist Secondary Consultant, Ben Baillie
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
