Project Manager - Business Analyst, Financial Services

This is a maternity cover role for a 15 min period, start ASAP.

One of the best known and most prestigious financial services organisations in London is looking to recruit a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst. This is a unique role that supports the entire Client Technology unit consisting of helpdesk, technical account management and market operations teams.

This is a hugely varied role that could see you supporting the development of a new tool for the technology teams one day, helping to facilitate a major operational change another or arranging a client conference and much more.

You will need to utilise project management and business analysis skills and be capable of autonomously resolving issues and ensuring a diverse range of projects are planned, analysed and delivered. This includes building cases for required resources, producing budget estimates and gaining the support of relevant stakeholders.

This is not a delivery based role but involved coordinating between various teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects are initiated and delivered.

This role will suit a candidate who enjoys being given a brief outline of a required project or task and can find a solution with little supervision. You will be a valuable ally to the client technology team and support them with a range of operational and technology based assignments.

To be considered for the role of Project Manager - Business Analyst, Financial Services - you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager from a financial services background
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to seek solutions autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good MS Office skills - Word and Excel
  • The inter personal skills to negotiate, garner support and gain information from a range of people including senior management in order to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
