Situated within beautiful grounds in a lovely suburb of Kent they provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children with a Statement of Special Education Needs and who are likely to benefit from a place in a special school. Students attending the school will have a diagnosis of Autism, Asperger?s or other significant social or communication difficulties.
This school currently has places for 85 Key Stage 3 & 4 students but they have exciting expansion plans in place and now require additional staff to join their existing team. You?ll be Teaching classes of no more than 10 children who are organised depending on level of need. You?ll be Teaching whole classes, groups and on a 1-1 basis and will have the support of a Teaching Assistant at all times. These lessons are additionally supplemented through a range of offsite visits to support the curriculum. The school also provide therapy programmes including: occupational therapy and speech and language.
