The Organisation:

The Green Recruitment Company are representing the UK’s leading specialist assurance based consultancy in the Green market. We are looking for an extremely motivated and driven individual to join our Environment Team to manage the day to day delivery of aspects of the Landlord Portal Administration Service (LPAS). This service provides an interface between Landlords and Water Companies and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service including; the helpdesk function, database and portal management, client and stakeholder engagement and providing management and performance reports.

The Role:
• Manage a team of helpdesk operatives to support the delivery of the LPAS.
• Maintaining relationships with major UK water and wastewater service suppliers and acting as a point of escalation for complex and challenging enquiries.
• Monitoring helpdesk services levels and producing regular statistical and written performance reports to evaluate service levels.
• Monitoring use of a ley infrastructure database to ensure information security and DPA compliance.
• Ensuring client and stakeholder queries are dealt appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Ad-hoc website portal performance testing as required.
• Managing and implementing training techniques for team members.
• Networking and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the water industry through presentations at industry events and media launches.
• Developing and driving continuous improvement to procedural documents to improve existing LPAS operations.
• Supporting the Environment Delivery Manager by providing feedback on operational and client requirements.

Person Specification:
• Managing an interactive, utility industry-driven website portal preferably water related.
• Producing and writing excellent and detailed reports to senior authorities.
• Excellent presentation skills in order to present initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, as well as experience in handling media interview scenario.
• Implementing outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail in high-pressure and tight deadline driven environments.
• Good understanding of information security and data protection risks and issues in relation to storage and transfer of personal data.
• Analysing operational problems whilst articulating suitable solutions (verbally and in writing) to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Training management in the utility industry.
• Successfully able to engage high-profile Government members of parliament and/or senior Civil Servants to discuss policy issues, deliverables and objectives.
• Flexibility to regularly react to changing demands and reprioritise work.
• Experience and an understanding of the Utility sector, preferably water.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
