The Job:
Due to restructuring of the timetable we are currently recruiting an English Teacher on behalf of a Bolton secondary school.
The timetable would be 15 periods of KS3 English, 2 periods of sixth form English (GCSE resits) and 7 periods of drama.
The ideal candidate will be a talented English specialist with experience of teaching Drama or a drama Teacher with recent experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 English.
The ability to plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons, work as part of a team and support the culture of achievement is essential.

Due to the continued growth of the school this role may become permanent and lead to additional responsibilities.

The Child:
Students attend from the surrounding areas of the North East Bolton area including Top O' the Brow, Breightmet and Harwood. Provision for SEN in the school is excellent with abundant specialist learning support. As a through school primary to secondary transition is smooth and promotes pastoral support. Unusually for Bolton the majority of students are from a white British background with English as a first language as English.
