A Hull school is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a fixed term basis initially from September.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the curriculum throughout Key Stage 3&4 and will have a proven track record of delivering results for their students.

Supporting students from Year 7 to 11, you will have an excellent grasp of examining boards and schemes of work for Secondary English. If you can also support to A Level, this would be extremely advantageous.
Although the role is initially on a temporary basis, you will be expected to undertake the same duties as if employed on a permanent basis. This would include planning and marking of work, staff meetings and parents evenings.
Due to the location of this school, it has a very diverse cohort of students and teachers in this school are well versed in supporting varying needs of ability.
You will have the opportunity to access the various CPD the school has on offer and will treated as a permanent member of the faculty.
Students make expected progress within this school, having entered below the average expected levels.
However, due to some recent changes, the school is now aiming to exceed the required levels of progress for their children ? the need to work hard is a must!
Behaviour can sometimes be challenging in this inner city school, but the school policy allows teachers to follow a clear process which has really helped alleviate the challenges they once had.
