The Organisation:
The Green Recruitment Company are working with an internationally recognised organistion within the offshore sector who are looking for an offshore engineering specialist of chartered status to manage risk of their engineering work across a range of sectors.

Responsibilities:
• Energy Division`s focal point for offshore installations, managing safety and regulatory relationships
• Inspect and audit companies involved in offshore oil and gas operations and related activities
Leading and coordinating a multi-disciplined team of energy engineering specialists
• Lead the investigation of accidents, complaints and dangerous occurrences, taking necessary enforcement action
• Advising employers and employees on legal requirements both verbally and in writing
• Managing the assessment process for safety cases

Required Skills:
• Chartered engineer and extensive industry experience
• Application of your disciplined skill to more than one type of offshore installation
• Experience of design, construction, and integrity management
• Carried out a technical managerial role, interfacing with other disciplines
• Familiarity with application of current offshore standards
• Experience of the assessment of integrity, accident response, ship impact, extreme weather, and foundation behaviour
• Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management tools
• Ability to challenge, think strategically, identify underlying core issues, and engage at different levels
• Ability to make key decisions and influence others to bring improvements
• Excellent communication skills both written and orally
• Sound analytical skills to identify underlying gaps and deficiencies related to risk management
• Good organisational and planning skills to manage your workload
