A leading provider of financial trading technology is looking for a Helpdesk Support Engineer (Windows, MS Office, Exchange, 1st line, 2nd line, Shift work, Finance) to join their IT Services team in Surrey.

As a Helpdesk Support Engineer (Windows, MS Office, Exchange, 1st line, 2nd line, Shift work, Finance) you will be responsible for supporting all internal IT equipment used by employees including hardware and software installation, managing call-logging queues and providing advice, guidance and assistance to ensure rapid restoration of normal services to internal customers.

To be considered for the position of Helpdesk Support Engineer (Windows, MS Office, Exchange, 1st line, 2nd line, Shift work, Finance), applicants must have:

  • Experience of working in an operational support role
  • Demonstrable experience of working with Windows 7
  • Strong skills around the whole MS Office suite, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to constantly changing priorities
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • An ability to work shifts between 7am-6pm and occasional weekend work
