A leading, globally renowned brokerage is looking for a Data Support Analyst (Linux, Solaris, Windows Server, Reuters, Networking, Bloomberg, Finance) to join their Data Sales team in the City.

This Data Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting their real time data and data flow as well as my client's Linux/NT machines. This is a fully technical role involving administration and data configuration and requires professionals adept at configuring and formatting data for external viewing and upgrading, patching and installing all system types. They must also be personable and have excellent communication skills in order to liaise with New York, Singapore and Tokyo to resolve any customer, system or production problems.

To be considered for the position of Data Support Analyst (Linux, Solaris, Windows Server, Reuters, Networking, Bloomberg, Finance) applicants must have:

  • Good Linux knowledge, preferably Solaris
  • Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008
  • Must have supported Reuters RMDS/TREP in the past
  • Good knowledge of Networks
  • Experience in a financial environment
  • Knowledge of the Financial Markets would be greatly beneficial
  • A familiarity with Market data feeds would be welcomed
