A global leading asset management organisation who specialise in developing in-house financial systems for business solutions, are seeking a Data Analyst/Developer (Data Mining, Modelling, Quantitative, SQL, C#). This organisation put their IT team, which is why they are the driving force behind their success within the market and take pride in having a competitive advantage over their competitors. As a Data Analyst/developer you will be involved in full software life-cycle and be involved in critical components of the organisation of finding relationships within data.
This Data Analyst/Developer (Data Mining, Modelling, Quantitative, SQL, C#) role will involve a self-starter with great experience of working with SQL Server databases for data-mining and modelling tasks. The systems within this organisation have large complex financial data feeding through, requiring great skills in numeracy and potentially a background in quantitative analysis. This organisation is a .NET house and you will be required to perform some development projects with C#. Essentially you will be involved in enhancing data processes and infrastructure and designing and developing quantitative models.
Key requirements within this Data Analyst/Developer (Data Mining, Modelling, Quantitative, SQL, C#) role are as follows:
- At least 3 years experience as a data analyst- Required
- OOP experience with either C#, VB.Net or Java - Essential
- A background in artificial intelligence - Desirable
- A degree in either mathematics or computer science from a top tier university - Essential
- Understanding of financial markets - Desirable
- Expertise in SQL Server - Required
