HR Manager - London - The Ashdown Group has been invited to assist in the hire of an HR Manager for a standalone role in central London responsible for an employee base of circa 200. The role will carry broad, generalist responsibilities, with the focus being on employee relations, engagement and retention and compensations and benefits.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role previously, either as a standalone HR Manager or in a position as a generalist adopting responsibilities for the full range of HR tasks. As well as constantly monitoring and enhancing the provision of HR as a service within the organization, the role will also require you to develop the HR function to ensure that the department is aligned to the overarching goals of the company and its changing needs. The role will, therefore, be strategic as well as operational.
As the sole HR representative in the business, you will also need to be comfortable in an advisory capacity, ensuring that the Directors are kept abreast of developments in employment legislation that may affect them, or giving them guidance on HR best practice and how it could have a positive impact on staff and the wider business.
The business currently benefits from very good relations between employees and management and it is important for the directors that this relationship is maintained or improved at all times.
