The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a successful Marketing Agency to help in their search for an HR & Talent Manager to join their team. This is a new role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a substantial and visible impact.
The company is well-established with an excellent industry reputation and an International presence. The role will suit a dynamic, articulate individual with experience working in a creative environment i.e. Brand Management Agency, Communications Agency, Media or PR environment - or similar.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in and also experience with implementing and driving forward Talent Management and Learning and Development strategies. In addition, you will manage the on-going generalist HR issues within the UK offices of the company; administrative support will be provided.
The successful candidate will have experience with all or most of the following:
*Deal with disciplinary/grievance and ER and Generalist HR issues
*Ensure accuracy of all HR Administration i.e. starters, leavers, absence, disciplinaries etc.
*Streamline recruitment and selection processes and develop a talent pool
*Develop strategies to promote the company as an employer of choice
*Manage and develop direct recruitment and networking channels i.e. LinkedIn
*Identify, manage and deliver the learning and development requirements for employees
*Make meaningful use of employee surveys and appraisals to identify training needs
*Create and deliver both management and employee training programs
*Analyse training needs and put in place a training schedule and staff development plans
*Provide regular and comprehensive reporting on training and HR initiatives and results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with a strategic and consultative approach.
It is likely that you will be CIPD qualified / part qualified or hold a degree in a relevant discipline i.e. in Human Resources or Psychology.
