We are seeking a bright Account Manager / Sales Account Manager / Recruitment Account Manager to join the Guru team.  At Guru we help smart businesses, many of which populate the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For and Times Tech Track 100 lists, hire brilliant, inspirational talent.  

Founded in 2002, Guru uses the latest online recruitment methods to get vacancies noticed.  With clients that include: Last.fm, McCann Manchester and Mamas & Papas (to name just a few), we help them reach the best talent through our expert understanding of  job boards, CV databases, community targeting and social networks. Due to ongoing expansion we are now seeking an experienced Account Manager / Recruitment Account Manager / Sales Account Manager to play an integral role in developing our current clients.

Working at the forefront of the business you will liaise with clients ensuring our online recruitment advertising campaigns run smoothly from inception through to delivery and beyond whilst maximising every available opportunity to sell.  On a day-to-day basis expect to build rapport with new, existing and past clients; write thought provoking ad copy (like this); filter candidate applications for campaigns; provide clients with a consultative approach and much more.

To qualify...   You should be a client facing AM / Account Manager with a background gained in the recruitment or online advertising industries (preferably servicing technology, digital or new media markets).  As a guideline your CV should highlight:

  • Well rounded knowledge of the recruitment sector (ideally within tech, digital, marketing & creative);
  • Proven track record in building rapport with clients and nurturing relationships;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • The ability to work off your own initiative and want to contribute ideas;
  • A great attitude.
