Secondary History Teacher York.
We are currently recruiting a committed History teacher for a progressive secondary school in the York area.

Teacher of History required for 1 term at a well regarded York school.
Our client is looking for an History Teacher required to start in September. The role will include, but not be limited to, preparing and delivering History lessons and schemes of learning at KS3 & KS4 level, monitor student development and liaise with department staff regarding progress and schemes of learning, motivating students to achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidates would have the following, degree qualified and UK QTS, committed and enthusiastic attitude towards developing a teaching career, a strong presence and an approachable, supportive character, and experience in a mainstream school. You will be expected to have the ability to teach History, Geography, RE but must have a specialism in History
Is a well established secondary in the York area. Housed in a recently modernised building the school is undergoing further restructuring and is regarded as an inclusive and supportive school by it?s divers community.
mixed ability and demographics is well catered for. Pupils are encouraged to achieve and exceed targets set. The standard of behaviour and attendance is high across the student body and extra curricular activities are actively encouraged.
This is a temporary position until January but could lead to further work in the next year.
