Business Development Lead - Financial Services Consultancy
MIDLANDS based / National role
£70,000 basic / OTE uncapped (£150-200,000 realistic OTE + benefits)

This organisation is a rapidly growing medium sized consultancy business in the financial services sector. The business works in a number of vertical markets and has built a strong portfolio of clients on the foundations of strong service levels and cutting edge products and services. The business targets corporate and large SME clients plus high net worth individuals, offering a vast array of products and services in the management of investment, capital, wealth and advisory services.

As the business continues to move forward the business is looking to create a new role leading and driving business development and building the longer term solutions proposition. The role requires an individual who can combine a strategic business development approach with direct "hands-on" responsibility for driving sales.

The role is very much about building personal relationships therefore this person can work with a high degree of flexibility and home working. The Head Office is in the Midlands so internal presence will be required from time to time.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- experience of business development in the financial services sector
- knowledge of at least 2-3 specific vertical markets, ideally combining both Corporate and large client base
- ability to work with C level clients and high net worth individuals
- natural self starter who is able to operate in a self-managed autonomous environment
