During his headline performance at Panorama Music Festival in New York City last weekend, Frank Ocean made a powerful statement by wearing a t-shirt that read in all caps, ““WHY BE RACIST, SEXIST, HOMOPHOBIC OR TRANSPHOBIC WHEN U COULD JUST BE QUIET?”

And, considering the ascetic political environment of America right now, it was a slogan that spoke volumes to Ocean’s audience.

The profound t-shirt sparked a furore on social media as the singer’s silent message resonated worldwide. But, where can you get your hands on one?

Created by Green Box Shop, an independent clothing brand established by 18-year-old Kayla Robinson, the small business say that the purpose of the “WHY BE RACIST WHEN U COULD JUST BE QUIET?” shirt is to address “how hate speech will not be tolerated by the 'tolerant left.'”

And get this, it only costs $19 (£14).

The slogan tee was inspired by the now-famous quote of a young man named Brandon on Twitter, who posed the question to his followers in August 2015. Since then, it has received more than 28,000 retweets and has been favourited by a further 23,000.

“It's very exciting to see a queer icon like Frank Ocean giving a voice to marginalized groups and using his platform to raise awareness about social justice issues using one of our shirts,” Robinson said in a statement.

“My business is essentially my life message. I want other companies to know that they can use sustainable/ environmentally friendly business practices (fair trade and/or organic fabrics) and still thrive as a business.

“The fact that Frank Ocean is contributing to this reality is surreal for me and I am eternally grateful.“

You can now buy the Green Box Shop t-shirt here for $18.99.
