Will & Grace stars Debra Messing and Eric McCormack have called for Hollywood to out and blacklist anyone attending a forthcoming fundraiser for Donald Trump.

President Trump’s fundraiser is set to take place in Beverly Hills during Emmys week, and the actors have called for industry publications to name and shame those who turn up to support him.

“Please print a list of all attendees please. The public has a right to know,” Messing tweeted in response to a story on the upcoming event.

“Hey, @THR,” McCormack added. “Kindly report on everyone attending this event, so the rest of us can be clear about who we don’t wanna work with. Thx.”

Despite a potentially catastrophic hurricane currently heading towards the US coast, the president took out time to respond to the tweets on Sunday morning by claiming that Messing had once "profusely thanked me, even calling me Sir" but added "how times have changed".

Tickets for the fundraiser start at $1,000. Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, RNC co-chairman Tommy Hicks Jr., Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale, and Trump Victory finance chairman Todd Ricketts are reportedly hosting the event.
