YouTube vlogger PewDiePie has announced that he has married his long-term girlfriend Marzia Bisognin.

On Tuesday, the online entrepreneur – whose real name is Felix Kjellberg – posted a series of photographs from the nuptials on his Twitter account.

“We are married!!!” the vlogger captioned the post.

“I'm the happiest I can be. I'm so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman.”

The photos include one of the Swedish YouTube star hugging his wife and another of the pair walking among their friends who are blowing bubbles in the air.

The pair – who live in Brighton – also posed for photos in a large conservatory at Kew Gardens in London filled with fauna.

In the photos, former vlogger Bisognin wears an ivory-hued long-sleeved dress with floral embellished details over a lace peplum-shaped top.

Meanwhile, the groom – who has over 99.5 million YouTube subscribers – wears a plain black tuxedo suit with a black shirt and a matching coloured tie.

Bisognin shared more details on Instagram about the couple’s wedding, revealing that the marriage took place on Monday – eight years after the couple met.

An excerpt of the Instagram post reads: “It was the most beautiful day, which I will treasure forever.

“I am so thankful for all the people that made time to attend the event and helped us celebrate our marriage. I feel like I’m the luckiest person and I’m so full of love. Incredibly ecstatic to be able to call Felix my husband for the rest of our lives.”

The wedding comes days after PewDiePie and Indian music label T-Series reached a settlement over a months-long legal battle involving an allegedly racist music track.

PewDiePie took over the top spot on YouTube in 2013 and amassed nearly 100 million subscribers to his channel during his six-year reign.

However, T-Series overtook the vlogger, following a controversial battle that saw PewDiePie fans go to extreme lengths to try and get people to subscribe to the YouTube star.

Among those that joined the #SubscribeToPewDiePie campaign were Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, who finally delivered on his promise to host the channel's “meme review”.

Mr Kjellberg also made videos mocking T-Series, including two songs titled "Bitch Lasagna" and "Congratulations".

Bisognin previously vlogged under the name MarziaPie, before rebranding her channel under the tile Marzia.

In 2018, the former online star announced that she had decided to end her YouTube channel and lifestyle blog, explaining in her final video that she felt like “a fraud” as that her mental health had worsened so much that she felt “completely cut off from the world”.

The star has since launched a homeware line called Mai Accents and co-founded the ethically-made unisex clothing and accessories brand, Tsuki Market.
