France striker Alexandre Lacazette will miss Arsenal's Europa League last-16 fixtures with Ligue 1 side Rennes after being given an additional two-match ban by Uefa for his dismissal at BATE Borisov.

Lacazette has been punished for his direct red card in the February 14 last-32 first leg loss in Belarus, given a three-match ban, but as he missed Thursday night's second leg, his absence is for a further two matches.

After having a second-half equaliser correctly ruled out for offside, Lacazette was sent off for swinging an elbow in frustration towards Aleksandar Filipovic with five minutes remaining.

He will now miss both matches against French side Rennes, denying him a homecoming.

Chelsea meanwhile face further disciplinary action in charges announced on Friday.

The Blues have been charged for a pitch invader in Thursday night's win over Malmo, who have been charged for their supporters using flares.
