Frank Lampard: Chelsea job is the biggest challenge of my career

Chelsea end their pre-season tour with Japan with a hotly-anticipated match against FC Barcelona in the Rakuten Cup.

Frank Lampard’s side began their pre-season campaign in Ireland before travelling to Asia, where they produced a disappointing performance against reigning J1 League champions Kawasaki Frontale.

Barcelona have not played a pre-season match prior to this and will provide Lampard with a stern test.

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Arthur Melo will not be playing due to their extended break following the Copa American, but there could be starts for Antoine Griezmann and Luuk de Jong, who both completed big-money moves to the Nou Camp this summer.

N’Golo Kante travelled to Japan, but he has now returned to Cobham as he prepares to get fit for the start of the season.

When is it?

The match kicks-off at 19:30 local time, which is 11:30 on Tuesday morning in Britain.

Where to watch online?

The match will be streamed live on Chelsea’s official website and on the club’s official 5th Stand mobile app.

UK and Ireland supporters can pay £10.99 for a subscription to watch the game on the website or pay £3.99 for the game on the app.
