Model Ashley Graham has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband of nine years, Justin Ervin.

On Wednesday, the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary in a video of themselves on Instagram.

In the clip, the pair can be seen adjusting the camera’s focus before zooming out to show Ervin caressing Graham’s baby bump. “Surprise,” the pair say in unison, before sharing a kiss.

In the caption to the post, Graham wrote: “Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life. It has been the best journey with my favourite person in the world!

“Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, @mrjustinervin. Life is about to get even better. [sic]”

At the time of writing, the 31-year-old’s post had more than 660,000 views with several of her 8.7m Instagram followers congratulating her and Ervin on their happy news.

Ervin, 30, announced the pregnancy on his Instagram account by sharing an ultrasound photo of their child as well as two throwback shots of the pair over the years.

“To my forever love and my daily inspiration,” the director began the post. “Happy anniversary @ashleygraham. These nine years have played out like a lifetime. I guess it’s because my life really started once you came into it. Now that we’ve made a life together, let’s make a life together. I love you and I love us. All of us…[sic]”.

In 2016, the model – who has graced the cover of several publications including Vogue and Sports Illustrated – opened up about her wishes to become a mother in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“We are going to totally have kids,” she said of her and Ervin. “We are probably going to do it in the next few years. Just a part of my brand building.”

Earlier this year, the star – who married her husband aged 22 – said that she looked forward to parenthood but was in no rush to start a family.

“For me, being a wife and being a woman, happiness doesn’t equate to having kids,” she told ELLE.

“Kids will come when they come. Happiness right now, is building with my husband and building my business.”
